Yöngün Keymen
Yöngün Keymen was born in Istanbul in 1972 and began making computer-assisted music at the age of 15. He entered the professional scene in 1989 as a sound technician and synthesizer programmer at MELKI V.A.P.P. studios. Later, he worked as an assistant to Fahir Atakoğlu and Rıza Erekli for three years. In 1991, he arranged his first solo album for Murat Uzunal titled "Yangın Var," composing four of its songs.
In November 1994, he arranged and produced the album "Her Daim Yonca," composing two songs. He continued working as an arranger at Panorama-Istanbul 2000 Studios-Arı Yapım Sound Recording Studios until 1995. In 1996, he started creating TV and radio jingles at Müzikotek Studio, having previously submitted a jingle demo to them in 1990. Keymen has composed five Music Bank CDs, over 350 TV series scores, and more than 1000 jingles and themes for Müzikotek. He continues to work as a composer, jingle writer, and producer.
Alper Yalçın
Alper initially became involved in music with piano lessons in 1988 during early years of his elementary school education. He received guitar lessons in 1994 during high school years.Alper did his first studio recording with Liqweed band in 1999. He devoted himself to computer recording techniques during undergraduate years. He enrolled on the Recording Arts Programme delivered by Full Sail University located in Florida,USA in 2005 and he completed and achieved outstanding success in the “Associate of Science in Recording Arts” Programme as well as receiving “ProTools- Expert of Music and Post Production” certificates. He was also awarded two separate first prizes for “Recording and Mixing Music” and “Film and Post Production” themes as he studied in Full Sail.
He started to work with Müzikotek M.I.K.I Studios as composer, jingle writer, producer and sound engineer in 2007. He composed many jingles and music pieces for TV shows throughout the two years he worked with Müzikotek. Apart from those, he assumed the roles of sound engineer and assistant producer for the following music albums: Brass Manoeuvers (2007), 2 Saz 2 Styles (2008), Ramazan (2008). He is also the composer-interpreter of Müzikotek produced albums: Well Known Tunes (2008), Jingles (2011) and Walking Bad (2018). “Nem-Kristalize” album, produced at M.I.K.I Studios, is the very first production experience of Alper Yalçın.
He has worked on various jingles and music projects, joining forces with Yöngün Keymen in 2009 to establish Melodrome Music Production.and he also delivers Multimedia Audio courses. He has over 300 pieces of work registered under MSG (Musical Work Owners Group).
